Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Charities was formed fifteen years ago by a handful of plaintiff attorneys who wanted to give back to thecommunity. Since then, LATLC has grown to more than 3,000 supporters, and has inspired associate organizations, each dedicated to LATLC’s mission.
For many years, plaintiff attorneys in Orange County have wanted to focus their local charitable activities like Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities. In 2019, LATLC and a new OCTLC began to meet to make this a reality.
In 2020, students Brynn and Eva Coleman proposed a Youth Ambassador Program to the Board of Directors. They had volunteered with their mother at LATLC service events for many years . To date, they have dozens of students, from various schools, volunteering at LATLC events, and creating their own community projects.
Students from Los Angeles law schools – Loyola University, Southwestern University, Pepperdine University, UCLA and USC – are forming LATLC groups to provide volunteer service and work closely with plaintiff attorneys.
