Ryan Medler is a trial lawyer, who prepares every case to be tried and believes the courtroom is where wrongdoers are ultimately held accountable. He is a back-to-back finalist for the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) Rising Star Award and a soon-to-be member of American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), the most preeminent organization of trial lawyers and judges in the country.
Ryan recently joined the Medler Law Firm, where he proudly practices alongside his parents, John Medler and Tammy Medler — the lawyers who first inspired him to pursue a life in trial advocacy and whose shared values of honesty, empathy, hard work and determination continue to guide his approach to the law to this day.
Ryan also welcomes opportunities to collaborate with other trial lawyers and firms— whether partnering on cases already in litigation or stepping in as trial counsel.
Ryan is a passionate advocate for his clients. His determination and refusal to back down to some of the largest insurance companies in the world have helped him secure well over nine figures in settlements and verdicts, including multiple eight-figure recoveries, for injured clients. His areas of practice include auto accidents, wrongful deaths, premises liability, product liability, habitability, dangerous conditions of public property, workplace injuries, construction site injuries and more.
In 2024, Ryan helped secure a $6.3 million jury verdict that ultimately resulted in more than $9 million paid on behalf of an elderly woman who was seriously injured after falling down a dangerously neglected staircase near downtown Los Angeles. Ryan is a true trial lawyer. He has tried more than ten cases to verdict and intends to spend the rest of his professional life in court trying meaningful cases
