Minh is a resident of Long Beach, California. He graduated from University of California, Hastings College of the Law with a Concentration in Litigation. While at law school, he was a 3L representative, served on the Admissions Committee and on the Academic Standards Committee, and was a two-year extern to San Francisco Superior Court Judge John E. Munter. He received the Witkin Award in Legal Research and Writing.  He received his Bachelors of Art degree in Economics from UCLA.  He also minored in Asian American Studies at UCLA.

Minh began his legal career at Jeffrey S. Pop & Associates, a boutique personal injury law firm.  He represents catastrophically injured clients in personal injury lawsuits. In 2002, right out of law school working as a certified law student, he took on an orphaned case–a case that had been rejected by three different law firms and could not find a home–from start to finish.  Minh represented a five-year old boy who was injured in an intersection car accident. The driver of the boy’s car was uninsured, unlicensed, on anti-depressant medication, and had made a left turn in front of oncoming traffic. Despite the foregoing, he sued the city of Modesto and proved that the intersection was dangerous. He recovered over $3.5 million for the boy and his family. Since then, he has gone on to recover over $60 million in settlements and verdicts for his clients. He has been recognized by his peers as a Rising Star in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2012 for his tireless energy and commitment to his clients.

In 2012, he opened his own law firm, The Law Office of Minh T. Nguyen, ALC. with offices in Beverly Hills and Long Beach.  He believes in justice for every man, woman, and child regardless of age, race, gender or sexual orientation.

He is a Board of Governors member for the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and a Board of Governors Member for the University of California, Hastings Alumni Association.

He is married to Nicole Nguyen with two beautiful children, Aidyn and Kailyn. In his spare time, he coaches little league, volunteers at Westerly School of Long Beach, and plays baseball and golfs.
