Ibiere N. Seck is a Trial Lawyer with a focus on cases involving complex catastrophic injury, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, police misconduct and sexual assault of minors. Ibiere exclusively represented plaintiffs in civil litigation/trial and prides herself in being a zealous advocate on an endless pursuit for justice on behalf of people who have been wronged, harmed or injured. Since 2010, she has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by the Super Lawyers publication and enjoyed the distinct honor of being selected as being featured as the cover story in the 2018 issue of the magazine. Ibiere was the recipient of CAALA’s 2014 Rising Star Award, and the National Bar Association’s 2015 Nation’s Best Advocates 40 Under 40. Ibiere been recognized SuperLawyers Top 100 Up-and-Coming Attorneys in Southern California and SuperLawyers Top 50 Up-and-Coming Women Attorneys in Southern California every year since 2015. She was also the recipient of CAOC’s 2016 Street Fighter of the Year award for her representation of a victim of sexual abuse/assault. Ibiere is committed to community engagement and education. She has served as a board member of the Los Angeles Trial Lawyer’s Charities, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California and John M. Langston Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association Litigation Section Executive Committee and Westside Children’s Center. She is the 2018 President of The National Black Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40. Ibiere is the proud mother of two and when not in the courtroom sharing the stories of her clients with jurors, she enjoys spending time with her children and telling them stories.
