Gerald L. Marcus started his career in the plaintiff personal injury field in 1980 as a licensed private investigator. That is when he realized that fighting for the rights of innocent injured victims was in his blood. While working as chief investigator for one of the largest plaintiff personal injury law firms in the San Fernando valley, Gerald got his Law Degree, passed the Bar and opened his own practice in 1986. Since then Gerald has represented more than 15,000 innocent injured victims.
Mr. Marcus founded the professional Accident injury network, Inc. in 1996 and formed a unique team of specialists in the field of plaintiff personal injury law. Gerald’s team is comprised of Attorneys who previously worked for the insurance defense industry, as well as case managers who were formally insurance adjusters and supervisors, along with investigators, negotiators, paralegals, and support staff specialists. Gerald’s practice is limited to representing innocent injured victims concerning all personal injury cases and has based his practice and philosophy on helping people , no matter how small or large their case is, and fighting for the little guy to give him/her an equally powerful voice against the insurance industry and corporate giants in order to level the playing field. As of 2020 Mr. Marcus has successfully recovered more than $250,000,000.00 in Jury verdicts, arbitration awards, and settlements for his clients. Mr. Marcus has taken on some of the most difficult complex cases, that many other attorneys rejected, and prevailed.
Gerald is an active member of the California State Bar, The American Association For Justice (AAJ), the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), San Fernando Valley Bar Association (SFVBA), Beverly Hills Bar Association (BHBA) Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), formerly, California Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA), and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA). Mr. Marcus has been honored and recognized as a Super Lawyer for more than 8 consecutive years, and most recently was honored as a Top 100 Super Lawyer in southern California. In addition to regularly being recognized and honored as a top 10 and top 100 law Firm in Southern California, he has received countless awards and honors over the past 31 years in practice.
Gerald’s most important association is his involvement with the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Charities (LATLC) for which he has served as an Honorary Board Member, A member of the Board of Directors, and an Officer of the Executive Committee since 2014. Mr. Marcus served as the 2019 President of LATLC.
