Belinda Theam specializes in serious and catastrophic personal injury cases. Prior to opening her own law firm, Theam Law, she was a litigation associate at Nguyen Lawyers, ALC, a personal injury trial law firm.

Ms. Theam is a 2017 graduate of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles Plaintiff Trial Academy. She currently serves as Vice-chair of CAALA’s Diversity Committee.

In 2014, Ms. Theam received her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School. She obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach in 2010. During her undergraduate career, she focused on urban politics and she interned for Long Beach City Councilmember, Patrick O’Donnell. While at Whittier Law School, she served on the executive committee of the Women Law Students Association and was a competing member of the Moot Court Honors Board.

Since 2014, Ms. Theam is admitted to practice law in the State of California. Since 2015, she is admitted to practice law in the State of Nevada. She is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.

Ms. Theam is a second generation Cambodian-American and speaks Khmer. She is an avid supporter of the Cambodian community in Long Beach. She serves as a community liaison for the U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia, William Heidt. She also serves on the Cambodian Genocide Remembrance Day Planning Committee. In her spare time, she enjoys seeking new eateries with her friends and spending quality time with her two nephews, Arjun and Arien.
