Christina M. Coleman, a Southern California native, was admitted to practice law in 1997. As in-house Corporate Counsel for a family of Internet/Telecommunications Companies, she oversaw all litigation and some corporate matters. In 2000, Ms. Coleman’s outstanding track record caused her to join a plaintiff’s litigation firm focusing on catastrophic injury (financial and physical) cases. While at this law firm, Ms. Coleman’s efforts in locating the proverbial “smoking gun” buried within 28 bankers’ boxes of documents resulted in a settlement of over $8 Million in a legal malpractice action.

Between 2001 and 2005, Ms. Coleman was an associate at the law firm of Huron & Johnson, LLP, where she handled hotly litigated cases in a number of different areas:  breach of contract and fraud, real estate disputes, high-end wedding gone bad, and so many others.  It was at this firm that Ms. Coleman co-chaired her first jury trial, a business dispute involving fraud, and was instrumental in obtaining a $7.2 million jury verdict for an individual and company in Orange County, California…. while 7 months pregnant…with the flu.

In March 2006, Ms. Coleman was recruited to and joined a top plaintiff’s employment firm, as the firm’s senior litigator and negotiator, where she was mentored and schooled in the specialized field of employment and civil rights litigation, a field in which, since then, Ms. Coleman has excelled and held close to her heart.  In this role, she continued to represent plaintiffs in their struggle for justice and fairness in the workplace and in the corporate arena.  During Ms. Coleman’s nearly 8-year run with this firm, she helped resolve, through verdicts and settlements, millions of dollars for her clients.

In January 2014, Ms. Coleman joined the Law Offices of Ramin R. Younessi, APLC, where she litigated and settled hundreds of employment and personal injury cases.  In her three-year tenure as an associate with this firm, she quickly rose the ranks to become head of its Civil Litigation Department.  Ms. Coleman remained Of Counsel with this law firm for more than another year after she left to start her own firm.

In April 2017, Ms. Coleman finally decided to her pursue her dream of opening her own law practice, but remains ever grateful to her roots, the path she has taken, and those who mentored her along the way.  With 24 years of litigation experience in a variety of business, employment, personal injury, real property and other litigation, Ms. Coleman is a highly skilled litigator and negotiator who has been the key to obtaining multi-million dollar jury trials and settlements.

Ms. Coleman graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a B.A. in Linguistics in 1993.  She attended the University of San Diego School of Law, and received her J.D. in 1997, and became a member of the California State Bar in December 1997.  She is admitted to practice in all state courts in California, the United States District Courts of California (Central & Southern), the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the California Supreme Court.

Ms. Coleman has been selected as a Super Lawyer for Southern California every year between 2017 and 2022, and in 2020 and 2021 was included on the “Top 50 Women in Southern California” published by Super Lawyers.  Ms. Coleman was also a Finalist for CAOC’s “Consumer Attorney of the Year” in 2008, and was a Finalist for CAOC’s “Streetfighter of the Year” in 2010.

Ms. Coleman is a member of many legal organizations, including the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), American Association for Justice (AAJ), and the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities, and has served on the Board of Governors for the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles (CAALA) since January 2018, and is its current Chair of Education.  She is a frequent lecturer and has authored several published articles for several of these and other organizations.  (See Publications & Lectures)

Ms. Coleman currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two daughters.
