Aimee Kirby

Ms. Kirby serves as the Managing Attorney of the Tort/Civil Division of the Dolan Law Firm, one of the most widely respected Plaintiff Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Employment and Elder Care Law firms in California.

Ms. Kirby graduated from Loyola Marymount University in May of 1999, as a member of the Honors Society Sigma Tau Delta. The summer she graduated, from Loyola Marymount University, she began attending Southwestern School of Law, participating in the accelerated Juris Doctorate program called S.C.A.L.E. Ms. Kirby spent the summer of 2001 interning with the Honorable Judge Rafeedie, at the United States District Court. Ms. Kirby completed her Juris Doctorate work in 2001, and passed the California State Bar in November of 2001. Ms. Kirby has also taken and passed the Arizona State Bar, in 2003, and the Nevada State Bar in 2004. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas and Georgia, in 2012, and actively handles matters in all five states.

Ms. Kirby’s practice is largely dedicated to representing the consumer in serious personal injury matters. She has been nominated for Trial Attorney of the Year by the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) twice (an award won only once in 50 years by a woman), and was nominated as Top Female Litigator for the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) twice. She currently sits on the Board of CAALA and speaks regularly at conferences on civil litigation for CAOC. She has tried and resolved several multi-million dollar cases, in California, Arizona and Nevada. Her last verdict in 2013 was for 11 million in Martinez, CA. She also has experience at the Appellate level regarding Government Entity Litigation. She is a member of CAALA, CAOC, and the American Association of Justice (AAJ).

Her spare time is spent volunteering in the Los Angeles Superior Court system, running half and full marathons and raising her two beautiful children in the Southbay. Her focus is primarily to make the practice of law a welcoming experience for younger female attorneys, minorities and to introduce the public to the justice system in a positive manner through advocating Consumer Rights.
