WHAT IS THE SERVICE PROJECT:
LATLC will again be part of the opening ceremonies of Buddy Ball, a baseball league in Long Beach for special needs children. We will have a booth with LATLC jump ropes, hand sanitizers, stress “hearts”, Loveys, and other items for the families. This is a great event that we have participated in for a number of years.

WHO THEY ARE:
Buddy Ball is for boys, girls and active adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities that have the desire to play organized, non-competitive baseball. Each player is assigned a “Buddy” that assists with playing the game. It is designed to give children dealing with any type of disability or special need the chance to play ball and grow socially
