Eric Dubin

Eric Dubin is best known for winning a $30 million Wrongful Death jury verdict against actor Robert Blake, one of the biggest cases in American history. Most recently in 2015, Eric obtained a $10.2 million Wrongful Death jury verdict in Orange County, creating a landmark path around the limited MICRA damages cap.

Eric has also been featured in hundreds of publications around the world, and received prestigious full page profiles in both the Los Angeles Times and Orange County Register. Eric has appeared on every major television news show in the country, including NBC Dateline, Fox News Live, CNN, Larry King Live, The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS Early Show, At Large with Geraldo Rivera, O'Reilly Factor, MSNBC, A&E American Justice, CBS 48 Hours, Access Hollywood, Nancy Grace, On The Record with Greta Van Susteren. and Barbara Walters.

A legal analyst for ABC News, Eric has published two books, The Star Chamber: How Celebrities Go Free and Their Lawyers Become Famous, and Beyond Reasonable Doubt, which he co-authored with Larry King.

He was the host of a CBS Radio Law Talk Show "Legally Speaking with Eric Dubin" in Los Angeles, and an Adjunct Law Professor at Whittier Law School, teaching Legal Damages and Professional Responsibility

Eric has given nationwide seminars, and a speaker at multiple continuing education seminars, including a featured keynote speaker for the American Inns of Court. In 2011, Eric was the featured speaker at the Los Angeles District Attorney's Victims' Rights Symposium

Born and raised in Michigan, Eric was recently invited to throw out the first pitch at a Detroit Tiger Game, sharing the honor with his 11 year old boy and 14-year-old girl. Eric began his career Law Extern at Fourth District California Court of Appeal, San Diego; participating on several published opinions that are still California Law. Alexander v Knight (1992) and People v Jackson (1992). He also participated for many years of in Invite-only training with Attorney Gerry Spence
