She is a board member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and serves as the Chair of the New Lawyers Committee, bringing together members of the bench and the bar providing, as well as monthly educational programs for plaintiff lawyers and solo practitioners practicing ten years or less.

In addition to efforts with the trial bar to empower plaintiff attorneys to achieve justice, Ibiere is firmly committed to ensuring the legal profession reflects the diversity of the state of California. Through her work as a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Litigation Section Executive Committee and as the Southern California Liaison on Diversity for the Consumer Attorneys of California, Ibiere promotes the advancement of racial, ethnic and gender minorities in law schools, law firms, the judiciary and within state/local bar associations.

She has been named a “Rising star” by the Super Lawyers publication multiple times, most recently in 2013.

When not fighting for her clients, Ibiere commits a tremendous amount of time and resources to not-for-profit and charitable organizations for which she was recognized by the California plaintiff’s bar association’s first ever “Community Service” award. Ibiere’s current service projects include serving as an advisory board member for the Mesereau Free Legal Clinic in South Central Los Angeles and the Western Center on Law & Poverty where she advocates on behalf of low-income Californians and under-served communities of color. She is also a charity liaison for the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Charities and was recently featured in FORUM magazine for her volunteer work and commitment to community service.

However, Ibiere’s most important accomplishment is being the proud mother of a spirited and ever-so-curious little boy.

Ibiere received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. While obtaining her law degree, Ibiere earned several distinctions, including being selected as a member of the nationally recognized Byrne Trial Advocacy Team; participating in the Civil Rights Litigation Program; earning highest honors in the Hobbs/Poehls Trial Advocacy Program; and being selected as a recipient of the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation Scholarship.

Ibiere received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Journalism Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University where she was a recipient of the Alice S. Ayling and Charles Irwin Travelli Scholarship, served as President of the Black Student Association and was Editor-in-Chief of the Onyx Informer Newspaper.
